“ I came across Steve’s lovely website when I was looking for a Shepherd’s Hut that would provide studio space in my garden. I was intrigued by the history and the stories, and contacted Steve straightaway. Although I did investigate other makers, I decided to go with Steve, as he was local, (which was handy), but more importantly, he also had a flexible and sensitive approach to the project. Steve readily accepted our ideas, had plenty of his own, and the result was a harmonious and fruitful collaboration. I am now the proud owner of a beautiful, bespoke Shepherd’s Hut which incorporates elements of my old studio, as we recycled the pine flooring, worktops, cupboards, some lights, switches, a heater and even my old sink – all these items were incorporated into the new space, which has given it a unique and personal character. The hut arrived last week, and is now sitting proudly at the end of my garden. I cannot wait to use it, enjoy the views and spend time in this beautiful space that has been created – I am really delighted.”
